Second, we investigate neuropsychological underpinnings of individual differences and developmental changes in social behaviors. Specifically, our research topics include psychological and neural basis of prosocial behavior, altruism, and morality. First, we study how our brain performs sophisticated social computation to generate predictions about others, or the social world, during social decision making. Research in the PNU Social Neuroscience Lab mainly focuses on social decision making, in which both benefits for self and benefits for others are considered, using both behavioral and neuroscientific approaches. ![]()
